A Powerful Night in London ✨

Hello Reader,

It’s Bola here!

I’m still reflecting on a really special evening I had in London last Thursday, April 23rd, and I wanted to share a bit of it with you.

I was invited to speak at The Wealth Edit, an intimate event hosted by Magnify and its founder, Ruth Yimika Afolabi.

And when I say intimate, I mean the kind of room where the conversations go deeper than surface-level money talk. It was thoughtful, honest, and full of women who are serious about building wealth and legacy on their own terms.

I had the honor of speaking about something I care deeply about; the importance of wealth-building for women. Not just for where we are today, but for our future selves and for the generations coming after us.

I also shared parts of my personal journey. Not the highlight reel, but my real story of what it took, what I learned, and what it continues to require.

And I got to introduce and share more about my new book, Clever Girl Millionaire, all about redefining what’s possible for yourself, taking action even when things feel uncertain, and building wealth in a way that actually aligns with your life, not someone else’s version of success.

I’ve known Ruth for a few years now, but being there in person, seeing what she’s built with Magnify; it really stayed with me. She’s created something meaningful, intentional, and incredibly needed. The kind of space where women can show up, learn, and grow without judgment.

And honestly? That’s exactly what we need more of.

Because building wealth isn’t just about numbers.
It’s about mindset, confidence, and making intentional decisions; again and again.

This is the work. And it’s exactly why I wrote Clever Girl Millionaire—to help you move from intention to action and actually build the wealth you’ve been thinking about.

If that resonates with you, here's your next step:

Or start simple: revisit your goals this week and ask yourself: What is one decision I can make today that moves me forward?

You don’t need perfect timing. You just need to start.

To every woman who was in that room—thank you. Your openness, your energy, and your willingness to have real conversations is what makes spaces like that so impactful.

And if you’ve been thinking about your own next step with your finances, this is your reminder: you don’t have to have it all figured out to get started. You just have to start.

If you’re not already connected with Magnify, I highly recommend you follow along. They’re building such a powerful, intentional community for women.

I recently had the chance to join a book club that’s reading Clever Girl Millionaire, and we had such an incredible conversation. Hearing their perspectives, their questions, and how they’re thinking about applying what they’re learning… it honestly reminded me why I wrote this book in the first place.
